Game of Thrones in IMAX: Participating Theatres

Due to high levels of consumer demand, Game of Thrones in IMAX will now launch one week later on Thursday, January 29 beginning at 10 p.m. and extending through February 5. The date change allows for an expanded roll-out of screens to upwards of 200 IMAX theatres. This will be the first-ever presentation of a television program in IMAX theatres, featuring two episodes from season four of Game of Thrones followed by the worldwide debut of the series’ season five sneak-peek preview created exclusively for IMAX. CBS reveals ‘Supergirl’ details: The costume is ‘awesome’

CBS has yet to cast its Supergirl, but the network gave some tantalizing details about what the network’s entry into the super-hero genre will be like.

Appearing at the Television Critics Association’s semi-annual press tour in Pasadena on Monday, CBS entertainment chairman Nina Tassler was pressed for details about the project — which marks the network’s first entry into the genre since 1990’s short-lived version of The Flash — while critics also wondered why the network swooped in and grabbed the show rather than putting the series on its sister network, the super-hero-stuffed The CW. Dexter star Michael C. Hall Joins Pete’s Dragon Remake

Dexter himself, Michael C. Hall, has reportedly been cast in Disney’s remake of Pete’s DragonVariety reports that Hall will join stars Robert Redford, Bryce Dallas Howard, Wes Bentley, and newcomer Oakes Fegley. David Lowery co-wrote and will direct the movie. Unlike the 1977 original, this version of Pete’s Dragon won’t be a musical and will be a CGI/live-action hybrid. (Read Story)

James Cameron Says ‘Avatar’ Sequel Delayed Until Late 2017
