A self-proclaimed Computer Nerd, Jake of the Web insists he was 'conceived in the back of and old Apple II computer'. When pressed as to how this was physically possible, he has declined further comment. A Salt Lake boy, Jake attended Highland High school, Salt Lake Community College, and the 'U'. A 2 year 'Religious Sabbatical' fits in there somewhere as well. Jake currently works for a local hospital in - what else? - IT, and plans to stay there forever. He has worked there for three years, and elsewhere in other computer support positions before that. In addition to computer-related obsessions, Jake also fancies himself a musician. He plays guitar, has been a singer in numerous bands, and even tried out for American Idol. He did not make the cut, and was politely informed by the judges that although he had a nice voice, next time he should show more cleavage. Jake has a beautiful wife, Mrs. Oftheweb, who is a pharmacy student at the 'U'. They currently have no children, but have two dogs; Bruiser and Chewbacca. Jake's likes are Rock & Roll, Thai food, and MMORPG's (look it up). His dislikes include washing dishes, MTV, and botulism.
