Most people my age wince in anguish at the thought of sitting through an episode of Dr. Phil.
With the exception of his studio audience, nobody necessarily enjoys listening to a southern-fried relationship therapist comfort old ladies when the spark in their marriage dies. Luckily we have the internet. Thanks to the trusty internet we’ve just learned that the only thing you need to do to make an episode of Dr. Phil entertaining, is to take the dialogue out all together. Reducing this afternoon talk show into an awkward and laughably emotional staring contest.
