10 Alternative Music Videos You Need To Watch Right Now

Remember a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, when the “M” in MTV actually stood for “MUSIC” and they played actual music videos? Since they don’t do that anymore, we took the reigns and compiled a list of 10 alternative music videos you need to watch right now. So what are you waiting for?

Remember a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away, when the “M” in MTV actually stood for “MUSIC” and they played actual music videos? Well, some of us do. Back then we’d sit for hours and watch, hoping to catch the newest video from our favorite band. See, MTV ran a lot like a radio station. They played videos across most genres and since this was in the days before menus and digital user interfaces, you pretty much had to sit and wait for your video to play. I’d say it was probably good for ratings, but if that were the case MTV would have stuck to playing music instead of all the crap they have on now… anyway…

Just when we thought we were stuck watching Real World re-runs and we’d never see music videos again, some genius somewhere came up with the idea of YouTube and all of our music video watching problems were solved! Sort of. Don’t get me wrong, I love YouTube. Aside from it being the second most used search engine on the planet, it has lots of really great content – mixed with about 10,000 times more crap. The point I’m trying to make here is that even though YouTube is awesome and has basically everything, you still have to search for whatever you want to see. And we all know that is a HUGE pain.

So, to make your life easier I went ahead and did the searching for you. Yep, that’s right. I combed through dozens of alternative music videos to find 10 of them that I think you should watch right now. Without further ado, here are the 10 alternative music videos you need to watch right now. In no particular order.
