A Catholic priest said Tuesday he can understand being a pedophile but not being gay. “I could understand paedophilia, (but) I don’t know about homosexuality,” Father Gino Flaim, a pastoral collaborator of the San Pio X church in Trento, told an afternoon talk show on La7 TV channel. “I have been to school a lot and I know children,” Flaim said when asked to explain. “Unfortunately some children seek affection because they don’t get it at home. And maybe they find a priest, and he gives in…I can understand that”.

A suburban Philadelphia woman repeatedly injected her 14-year-old daughter and another teen with heroin, even tying a string around their arms to isolate their veins, prosecutors said Monday. The Chester County district attorney’s office alleged that Jessica Lynn Riffey, 34, of West Caln Township, supplied the 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy with heroin and injected them multiple times last month. Riffey was charged with corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children and drug delivery. She was jailed in lieu of $50,000 pending a preliminary hearing Friday. Online court records didn’t list a lawyer who could comment on the charges.

Boner Candidate #3: My Racism Was Taken Out of Context

A white marketing dude has lost his job after posting a Facebook photo with his coworker’s 3-year-old son, who is black, and joining his cool and fun friends in making racist jokes calling the boy “Sambo,” “slave,” and “Kunta Kinte,” among other things. The owner of Atlanta-based Polaris Marketing Group issued a public statement announcing that the employee who posted the photo, Geris Hilton (real name Gerod Roth), had been fired, and decrying the “atrocious lies, slander and racism” on display in the thread.
