Original ‘Flash’ star will reprise her role on the new CW series

It’s been almost a quarter century since CBS aired The Flash, a short-lived but fondly-remembered (by a couple of people including yours-truly) attempt to tell an ongoing superhero saga on the small screen. In recent years, super-powered dramas have become quite common on television–to the point that DC Entertainment has a new The Flash show launching this season on the CW, alongside network sibling Arrow and Fox’s Batman-minus-Batman prequel Gotham. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” character names revealed – Ball droid, bad guys and more

The mysterious characters seen in the incredibly popular “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” trailer have now been revealed in a rather fun way. Lucasfilm sent Entertainment Weekly a series of retro Topps trading card style images captioned with the names of the corresponding faces. (Read Story)

Syfy, David Goyer Developing Superman Origin Story ‘Krypton’

Look, up in the sky! It’s another comic book show.

From Warner Horizon Television and DC Comics, Krypton takes place years before the Superman legend we know, when the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This drama, which is in development, follows the Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known. His first job began in 1982, spending most his life on the air near an open microphone. Along with his Radio From Hell hosting duties, he also hosts since 2008. Jackson currently lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, Suzanne. They have no children and have chosen to never have them, “Child-Free,” as he calls it. They have a dog, Ripley (whose full name is Lt. Ellen Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo ).
