Several years ago, Kerry, Bill, and Gina came to me and said that X96 ought to be involved in the Pride parade. Once we marched in the parade for the first time, I wondered why we hadn’t been there all along. It was a celebration of acceptance of everyone. We had a great time and we’ve been back every year.
Today, the Supreme Court of the United States of America ruled that states cannot ban same sex marriage. With their 5-4 decision, a new civil right was established, and those who fought long and hard for equality have seen it come to fruition. This is a great day for everyone! Today is a day to hug the people you love.
