25 X96 Fall Music Suggestions

X9625FallSongs

“Damn these damn leaves…” That’s my favorite fall memory.

The yard covered in leaves, so rather than mowing the lawn the old man would be out raking as my brother and I looked on, not bothering to lend a hand. The only thing that would get us out of the house was a clear driveway and a fresh net on the basketball hoop.

Summer’s over, baby! It’s gone. We are now in the season of reverence, thoughtfulness, self-reflection, warm beverages, better than average movies and too-soon festive decorations lining store shelves (Oh, wait! Costco already has their’s up…jackasses).

So, in the spirit of the changing leaves and chilly air I have assembled 25 songs that I think fit the season. It’s probably not the cheeriest of playlists, but there is some great stuff here. Some you may know and some not so much. Some of the songs are new and some old. The list leans a little hipster, but it’s the season of scarves and peacoats, after all.

Feel free to leave some of your own music suggestions in the comments.
