Boner Candidate #1: THEY’RE BEHEADING FETUSES

A South Dakota lawmaker attacked Planned Parenthood on his official website, calling the family planning center worse than ISIS. Isaac Latterell, a Republican member of the state’s House of Representatives, wrote on his website about “revolting methods of execution” such as the beheadings carried out by the militant group. “Planned Parenthood abortionists in Sioux Falls are similarly beheading unborn children during dismemberment abortions,” Latterell wrote. Not surprisingly, Planned Parenthood took issue with his comparison. “I think the majority of South Dakotans would agree that comparing Planned Parenthood to a terrorist organization is just going too far,” Planned Parenthood spokesperson Jennifer Aulwes told Talking Points Memo. “No matter what you feel about abortion or about Planned Parenthood, it’s an inflammatory and really inappropriate comparison.”

A 3-year-old stood frozen in fear inside a Deerfield Beach liquor store as her mother scrambled to hide a handgun after her boyfriend shot himself in the leg, authorities said. Stefanie Felicia Stern, 28, was arrested Tuesday and faces charges of child neglect without great bodily harm and tampering with evidence, jail records show. She is accused of leaving her daughter alone in a liquor store while she and her boyfriend disposed of a gun with which he had shot himself.
Boner Candidate#3: WHY DOES ANYONE LISTEN TO RUDY?

Rudy Giuliani has delivered a political shot-in-the-gut to President Obama, charging the president doesnât âlove America.â âI do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,â Giuliani told about 60 conservative business leaders gathered Wednesday night at the 21 Club to hear Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker. According to the former mayor, Obama doesnât love Giuliani either. âHe doesnât love you. And he doesnât love me. He wasnât brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up, through love of this country,â he continued, as Walker, who has entered the top tier of Republican presidential candidates, sat nearby. The comments are a departure from standard political rhetoric, where blasting someoneâs ideas is considered fair game, but questioning an opponentâs love of country is usually a no-no. Politico reported the expansive comments. Giuliani elaborated on âFox and Friendsâ Thursday morning. âWell, first of all, Iâm not questioning his patriotism. Heâs a patriot, Iâm sure,â he said on the program. âWhat Iâm saying is, in his rhetoric, I very rarely hear the things that I used to hear Ronald Reagan say, the things that I used to hear Bill Clinton say about how much he loves America.â
