Dave Grohl Rocks From His Throne! (with video!)

It sucks that all my favorite bands are getting older.  It sucks even worse that they keep breaking bones to remind me.  In the past 12 months we’ve seen Chester Bennington break his ankle, Bono break his arm, and Scott Weiland is just plain broken.  But Foo Fighters honcho Dave Grohl isn’t letting his broken leg stop him from rocking his ass off at the bands 20th anniversary concert in Washington DC over the 4th of July weekend.   Grohl emerged from behind a giant Foo Fighters logo at RFK Stadium on Saturday riding high on a giant light-up throne.   Seriously, A THRONE.

I see a throne everyday...

The mobile contraption fit for a king allowed the rocker to get around a bit while still playing guitar and singing the band’s hits with his leg propped up in a cast.  You remember that Grohl broke the leg on stage in Sweden a few weeks ago, causing a series of cancelled concerts in Europe.

But this!  THIS seriously ups the game for injured performers.
