U2 is sharing not one, but ELEVEN new music videos to go with the Grammy-nominated “Songs of Innocence” album. ELEVEN VIDEOS. I can’t even write eleven blogs a month let alone make 11 videos.
That’s why I’m rich, and you’re not!
The collection is called “Films of Innocence” and features the work of what the band calls “the world’s most vital urban visual artists.” Umm… I don’t know what that means exactly, BUT the short films already started streaming on various websites earlier this week. They’ll be available for fans to watch for 24 hours before they are officially released Tuesday on iTunes. The special premiere event coincides with the start of ticket sales for U2’s upcoming “iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE” tour — not coming to SLC. Which is honestly a relief, as I no longer have access to 200 white bed sheets to put on the mountain (long story).
Hopefully Bono is feeling better in the Spring, as the tour kicks off May 14 in Canada.
