President Obama is coming to town–just down the street from the X96 studio! The Secret Service has been busy this morning (and probably a lot longer than that) securing the area around the Sheraton Hotel. West Temple is closed between 4th and 5th South, and the same for 2nd West. They barricaded the block with UTA buses and Salt Lake City dump trucks. There are lane restrictions on 500 South at the moment. Air Force One is landing at Hill Air Force Base this afternoon around 5:30. There will be obvious congestion this afternoon and evening with the presidential motorcade. This is awesome, and I’m excited that Mr. Obama is visiting our great state!
