Boner #1 – The iPhone is Sodomy Propoganda

Back in January 2013, a Russian company called ZEFS put up a sculpture outside a St. Petersburg university devoted to the iPhone, the love of Russian hipsters everywhere. On Friday, a day after Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote an essay saying he was gay, ZEFS took the sculpture down. In a statement sent around on Monday, it said the iPhone was now “public propaganda for sodomy.” (Read Story)

The Forest Service in Lake Tahoe has now added “don’t take selfies with bears” to the list of Things We Shouldn’t Have to Be Told But Apparently Do Need to Be Told So As Not to Win a Darwin Award.Seriously. So many people are running to take pictures of themselves with bears that officials at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center in South Lake Tahoe are actively warning visitors not to be dumbasses. Boner #3 – De Ebola boogie gonna get ya

A teacher at a Louisville, Kentucky, Catholic school has resigned rather than take paid leave after parents raised concerns about her trip to Kenya, half a continent away from the Ebola epidemic in western Africa, WDRB Channel 41 TV reported.  Susan Sherman, a religious education teacher who is also a registered nurse, was recently on a mission in Kenya in eastern Africa. When she returned, St. Margaret Mary school requested she take a precautionary 21-day leave and produce a health note from her doctor, according to a statement from the Archdiocese of Louisville.
