Danger Mouse Producing the New Chili Peppers Album?

Ok first, for those that don’t know who Dangermouse is, he’s easily one of the most influential musicians out there right now.  He was one half of Gnarls Barkley.  He worked with The Black Keys, producing their latest two albums, and bands like U2 and Portugal The Man. You get the idea. He’s a musical badass.

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea has apparently revealed that RHCP are working with Dangermouse by accident. In a since deleted tweet, we saw that Danger Mouse is producing the band’s next album. Of course, officially The Chili Peppers aren’t confirming this, but Danger Mouse would fit the description of the producer Chad Smith talked about in a recent interview with “Rolling Stone.” indicating the unnamed person manning the boards was challenging them to try new ways of writing and recording music.
