I visited Da Booze Shop in Waimea. They sell no booze but have really good plate lunch Hawaiian style food. So, why is it called Da Booze Shop? Well, 25 years ago when the woman who owns it bought the place it was a liquor store. But she became very Christian and got rid of all the booze. Now, just good food….Hawaiian style….and religious sayings all over the walls, including the 10 commandments in Hawaiian.
