I first heard about “Constantine’ actor Charlie Halford when I read an article about him meeting Richard Simmons.
I was struck by article because it mentioned right off the bat that he was from Utah. The story was about how Charlie met Richard on a plane on his way to Louisiana to film the wonderful HBO show “True Detective”. Richard Simmons invited him to dinner- I think he was sweet on Charlie, ’cause I am too. I reached out to him because I thought it would be fun to have a local success story on the show. Charlie graciously accepted, but when I heard from his publicist, he referred to him as “Charles”. I’m still going to call him Charlie, like his close personal friends and family do.
